An expressionist/impressionist acrylic painting of a luminous sunrise with sunlit trees on the edge of a sunlit shoreline. Reflective water flows in the foreground along with a row of clouds on the horizon. Like many of my acrylic paintings, the surface shows textural elements of paint application.

I find great joy and inspiration making art and great satisfaction when my art moves or inspires others. My paintings come from memory, emotion, places I have seen and spent time. I take 1000s of photos while spending time in nature. Sometimes my paintings are planned and sometimes they're completely spontaneous.
