Florida Fine Artist featuring watercolors and paintings.

I find great joy and inspiration in making art, and great satisfaction when my art moves or inspires others. My paintings are inspired by nature; the sky, clouds, the ocean, birds, people, trees, plants, light, boats on the water, and waves. Sometimes I have a plan for my painting, with a photographic reference and an idea of what I want to convey. The journey that the painting takes is always a little different than what I imagined just like best laid plans in life. I get surprises that keep me learning and growing. Most of the time I just like to paint with what comes from the heart and hand, loosely, and joyfully. I am grateful that making art is what I chose to do with my life.

My photographs are joyful attempts at capturing a moment in time of light, mood and space.
